W. Cort Frohlich

W. Cort Frohlich

Port Charlotte, Florida

Cort has been practicing law in Florida since 1976, and since that time has been representing victims of negligence. Cort is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar, and Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Cort is "AV Preeminent" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been named a "Florida Super Lawyer" in the field of personal injury and wrongful death litigation every year since 2006. Cort's extensive courtroom experience is highlighted by a wrongful death verdict he obtained on behalf of the parents and daughter of a young lady tragically killed in a tractor trailer accident. Following a two-week trial, the jury returned a verdict of $4,650,000.00, which still is one of the larger known civil jury verdicts in the history of Charlotte County.

In addition to his professional obligations, Cort currently serves as President of the Board of Charlotte Behavioral Health Care. He has served as Emcee for many charitable events including, among others, Edison College Pops at Sunset, Boys and Girls BASEBALL, C.A.R.E. Ball, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and The Fred Lang Foundation Summer Ball, and has helped to raise hundreds of thousands dollars for these worthwhile organizations.
